The Inventory Control Clerk supports the Inventory Control team by performing data entry, reviewing and circulating adjustments, and limited analysis.


MEASURES OF SUCCESS:


Enter adjustments into the ERP System.
Review and circulate Item Journals for posting.
Review adjustments entered by other departments for accuracy and errors.
Review transactions in the system as part of reconciliation and review of adjustments.
Use system-generated reports for reviewing inventory.
Perform some basic analysis utilizing Excel, including the use of standardized templates.
Maintain Inventory Control Department files.
Work on special projects and other tasks as assigned by management.



IDEAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES:


Experience in data entry in an ERP system.
A background of data entry in either a manufacturing or distribution environment, preferably with experience in inventory, production control, receiving, or shipping.
Perform basic math and interpret both written and verbal instructions correctly.
Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and through e-mail.
Basic excel skills.
The ability to work as part of team and across departments.
Focus and remain on task in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail with some analytical ability.
