TITLE: Account Liaison
REPORTS TO: Director of Business Development
FLSA: Exempt
JOB SUMMARY
An individual responsible for the generation of referrals and coordination of marketing and education activities with nursing facilities; assisted living facilities; physicians and other community agencies.
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous sales/marketing experience, preferably in a hospice or other subset of healthcare. Excellent social and interpersonal skills and knowledge of hospice philosophy. Computer skills are also required.

Minimum age requirement of 18.
BachelorÆs degree and related healthcare experience and knowledge preferred.
Previous sales/marketing experience, preferably in hospice or other healthcare program.
Understanding of hospice philosophy and geographical area served.
Demonstrated history of positive sales results, and customer relationships that led to outstanding results. Results driven.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to market effectively with customers, referral sources, and the community.
Valid driverÆs license with maintenance of good driving record and an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or VitalityÆs requirements and is in good working order
Ability to work in an interdisciplinary setting.
Flexible and cooperative in fulfilling all obligations; self-motivated.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Overall Responsibilities
1. Work within the scope of the position, in coordination with management, to meet the needs of our patients, families and professional colleagues.
2. Meet or exceed growth and development targets and actively establish and maintain market acceptance and allegiance throughout the local service area.
3. Establish and maintain professional and productive relationships with all referral sources, including physicians, nursing home, assisted living home health, hospital personnel, discharge planners and/or case managers and other appropriate referral sources.
4. Maintain standards of superior customer service, and show respect to all constituents, both internal and external.
5. Implement marketing and educational initiatives as directed by the VP of Strategy or Designee.
6. Implement and maintain good æsales habitsÆ, including efficient time & territory management, appropriate call volume as defined by the employee and VP of Strategy or designee.
7. Provide educational inûservices internally/externally and become a resource for customers and the community regarding hospice.
8. Participate in staff meetings, staff development activities and attend off site activities as assigned.
9. Projects hospice philosophy in all aspects of the role.
10. Participates in Performance Improvement projects as assigned.
11. Completes all other projects as assigned by the VP of Strategy or Designee.
