Willow Street, Trenton NJ, 08618(Not all Remote- this will be a mobile location)If interested please send us a copy of your resumeEquipment to be used by the temporary staffing professional(s) : Computer and Microsoft Office SuiteComputer software to be used : Microsoft Office SuiteMandatory skills/certification(s) Requirement: High School diploma is required.Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant Program.Certification preferred but not required.2+ years Medical assistance experience working in a healthcare practice or hospital setting.Fluency in English and additional languages a plus.May be required to lift up to 25 pounds.Duties/Responsibilities: The Medical Assistant is responsible for working directly with members of the Rapid Mobile Response Team (RMRT) and under the supervision of the Advanced Practice Nurse to assist with covid-19 testing and vaccination to vulnerable New Jersey residents. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for preparing New Jersey residents for testing or vaccination, providing education, proper specimen collection and handling, intake and out-take procedures, documentation, as well as, support the day to day functions of the mobile unit. The work location will be on the road, five days a week for up to 12 hours daily.Desired skills: * Work with the RMRT in setting up and breaking down the pop-up testing site daily.Work under the supervision of the Advanced Nurse Practitioner for the administration of various COVID-19 tests and vaccines.Maintain complete and accurate records and registries.Obtains pertinent clinical information.Prepares residents for and administers COVID tests.Prepare labels and processes specimens to send to the laboratory.Strictly follow and enforce universal precaution and infection control principles.Provides education and answers questions within scope of practice and policies and procedures.Follows applicable federal, state, confidentiality, and HIPPA laws, and OSHA safety standards.Cross trained to perform the duties of the Resident Access Representative and Community Health Worker.Remain flexible to perform other duties as required or requested.Remain current with medical trends and evidence-based protocols.Job Types: Full-time, ContractPay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hourSchedule:Monday to FridayEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)License/Certification:BLS Certification (Preferred)Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)Work Location:One locationWork Remotely:No
