About the Position
This role is made up of the following responsibilities for the approximate percent of a tutor's work schedule:
Tutor students 1:1 for 60 minutes in the subject matter being requested to ensure student has a solid understanding of material (90%)
Communicate with parents regarding student progress including making constructive recommendations for student success (10%)
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree welcomed
Experience teaching/tutoring preferred
Ability to build rapport with students
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong leadership qualities
