Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
Establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy and nurturing learning environment
Supporting each childs social and emotional development
Establishing positive and effective family relationships
Qualifications for Assistant Teacher:
High school graduate (at least 18 years of age)
Meet the requirements set forth by the state licensing agencies which include, but are not limited to:
2 years experience working with children
-or- 1 year experience working with children & 15 credit hours from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or the human services field
-or- CDA
-or- degree in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or the human services field
