Philadelphia Hebrew Day School is seeking a dynamic, creative and passionate Kindergarten Limudei Kodesh Teacher for the 2023-2024 school year.
Qualifications and Requirements:
At least 2 years experience in an early childhood classroom, preferred
Truly love teaching
Be flexible and positive
Be prepared to engage in ongoing professional development, including training over the Summer
Demonstrate a supportive, student-centered approach to learning and a thorough understanding of early childhood development and pedagogy
Be fluent in using the technology of a modern kindergarten classroom
Be highly skilled in communicating with both adults and children
BA or MA degree in Elementary or Early Childhood Education, preferred
Responsibilities:
Demonstrate a commitment to developing pedagogical practice. This includes differentiation of instruction, classroom management, and development of curriculum, lessons and activities.
Create a classroom environment that encourages social emotional learning & builds a community of learners. Build respectful and loving relationships with students. Develop and implement strong classroom management skills and tools rooted in conscious discipline and responsive classroom practices.
Collection and analysis of student data used to drive instruction. Provide differentiated instruction based on student strengths and needs. Utilize a variety of instructional groupings, including whole group, small group and one-on-one instruction to meet the needs of students.
Maintain open communication with students, parents and the educational team about students progress.

Job Type: Part Time
