We are looking for a range of Full Time Assistant Teachers (children are ages 6 months - 5 years) excited to impact the lives of students in a professional and exciting early childhood setting. Are you someone who loves working with children and is committed to nurturing creativity and a love of learning in children as they prepare for the next step in their education and their lives? Can you bring that joy to children in classrooms with infants, toddlers and preschoolers? The Goddard School is looking for good people to join our team, support our full day learning and childcare program. We are currently hiring for full time positions that have available benefits, and provide on the job training and opportunities for professional development. The position is Monday - Friday 8:30am-5:30pm
Responsibilities

Work with age range of infants, toddlers, preschool and pre-k children
Follow a full schedule of activities and discover suitable teaching material
Provide basic care and caregiving activities
Help to implement age appropriate lesson plans and use a wide range of teaching methods (stories, media, indoor or outdoor games, drawing etc.) to enhance the childs abilities
Positive and professional communication with parents on a daily basis
Observe childrens interactions and promote the spirit of concord
Collaborate with other colleagues
Adhere with teaching standards and safety regulations as established by the official sources

Skills

Proven experience as a child care / daycare teacher
Excellent knowledge of child development and up-to-date education methods
Methodical and creative
Patience, flexibility and love for children
Strong communication and time management skills
Certificate in first aid and CPR (not required; we will provide training)

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
