Position Description
TherapyTravelers is partnering with an exceptional school district who is looking for a contract Special Education Teacher for the 2022-2023 school year.
Location: Ewing, NJ
Duration: Immediately-June 21, 2023 (will possibly extend into the 2023-2024 SY )
Onsite or Virtual: On-Site
Full or Part Time: Full Time but will consider Part Time as well
Schedule: 7:30 AM-2:45 PM, part-time hours available
Grade/Age Levels: Middle School and High School
Caseload Description: 2 small pull out to include 3 students needing up to Algebra 2, and 10 students needing pre algebra,and 1 student needing geometry. If full time, then they would help with priority of small pull out classes, and then they would add push in support for the rest of the day with students on IEPs to give full time hours

Qualifications
The minimum qualifications for a Special Education (SPED) Teacher:
1 year of verifiable, professional experience as a Special Education Teacher within the last 3 years (may include residency or clinical practicum)
Valid Special Education Teacher credential/license or in process in the state of practice
