Job Description:
Noor-Ul-Iman School still seeks a highly qualified Islamic Studies Teacher. Bachelors Degree in the appropriate field required. Teaching Certification and or Masters Degree a plus.
Job Responsibilities:
Knowledge of Islamic Studies instruction
At least 2+ years experience
*Teaching standard-based instruction with proficiency
*Teaching with an appreciation for the richness of Islamic Heritage and Culture
*Knowledge of best practices and implementation of differentiated instructional strategies
*Fostering continued growth of established school culture
*Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
*Enforce all administration policies and rules governing students
*Prepare, administer, and grade tests and assignments to evaluate students'
*Demonstrate high level of knowledge and skill in subject area
*Organizes and effectively communicates class/course objectives, standards, and requirements for successful achievement, e.g., syllabi, tests, specific tasks.
*Provides guidance and assistance to students as needed in order to ensure appropriate assimilation of the course content in an effort to support student success and achievement.
