Posting Summary



Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Course Developer and Instructor for the Center for Executive Leadership in Government. Programs are designed for training managers in non-profit, government, and public service organizations. The training provided includes professional certification and/or professional development for managers.


The position will collaborate with content experts and instructors preparing materials to be used in the creation of an online version.

Among the key duties of this position are the following:


Provide pedagogical support for new instructors building modules including public sector specific examples for cases and course framing content.
Develop and share standard frameworks to be used in Canvas such as discussions, collaborations, and cases.
Responsible for non-credit course content development, course administration and content delivery, material development, revisions, updates, online materials and audio/visual/presentations for the following programs: Mini Master in Public Administration, Public Leadership, Strategic Communications, Non-Profit and Volunteer Management and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

Qualifications






Minimum Education and Experience


Bachelors degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
A minimum of 2 years of experience working in or with non-profit Federal, County, or Local government organizations





Certifications/Licenses






Preferred Qualifications



Instructional experience or successful completion of Train-the-Trainer program.
Government, Non-Profit and Volunteer or professional teaching or course development experience.
Graduate level degree.










Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities


Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
