The Department of Performing Arts at Rider University seeks adjunct instructors of theatre for the fall semester beginning September 6, 2023. These positions may teach courses such as Stage Management, Authentic Instrument 1, and Advanced Acting for the Camera.
Position Requirements
BA, BFA, or MFA in Acting or Theatre
Demonstrated professional theatre or film experience including acting or stage management
Position Preferred Qualifications/Experience
Past experience teaching at an institution of higher education
For Stage Management course:
Professional experience as a stage manager in a regional or community theatre setting
For Authentic Instrument 1 course:
Experience or certification in Alexander Technique or other similar methodology
Voice use training
For Advanced Acting for the Camera course:
Experience with Television, Film, Internet Content, Voiceover and other mediums.
