Our Newest Child Learning Center in Manalapan is looking for a take charge, full time (40 hours per week), Director. The center is a beautiful, state-of-the-art facility. As the Center Director, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our childcare centers while demonstrating exceptional professional conduct and consideration for the educational development, safety, and welfare of the children and staff. In order to qualify for the position, you must meet state of NJ requirements to be a center director and applicants must possess a Master's Degree in any field related to children or business OR a Bachelor's Degree with A
MINIMUM OF ONE YEAR MANAGERIAL or
SUPERVISORY EXPERIENCE IN CHILDCARE. Preferred applicants will possess previous experience working as directors in an early childhood education setting.
$500 SIGN-ON BONUS AFTER 90 days!

Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:
Overseeing the day to day operations of childcare center providing exceptional care for children ages 6 weeks to 13 years
Ensuring adherence to all requirements of N.J.A.C. Manual of Requirements for Child Care Centers including renewal of State Child Care License
Ensuring staff and parent adherence to all center policies and procedures outlined in Parent and Employee Handbooks
Creating a positive rapport with all staff members through daily interactions
Scheduling, supervising, observing, evaluating, and mentoring staff of approximately 25 employees
- Arranging staff to ensure ratios are being met at all times - dismissing part-time staff when no longer needed
Approving/denying staff requests for time off and scheduling appropriate coverage
Receiving staff sick-calls (6:15-6:30AM) and arranging emergency coverage
Conducting and documenting daily classroom observation logs to aid in compiling monthly classroom room meeting agendas
Planning and conducting monthly staff room meetings and annual staff training workshop(s)
Recruiting, interviewing, hiring applicants and assisting in training new staff members
Completing initial and annual staff evaluation forms/meetings
Planning weekly academic calendar themes/topics of focus to create monthly classroom calendars
Approving and creating individual class monthly calendars
Approving individual class weekly lesson plans
Ensuring the implementation of a developmentally appropriate curriculum in all classrooms
Coordinating special events and fundraisers
Planning and overseeing the summer camp program
Planning, scheduling, and overseeing fall and summer field trips
Arranging and advertising continuing education opportunities for staff
Completing 20 hour of continuing education annually
Arranging and advertising public events
Keeping craft supply inventory and ordering supplies
Conducting facility tours
Creating a positive rapport with all parents through daily interactions
Emailing notifications to parents and maintaining regular correspondence
Addressing and documenting any concerns or incidents regarding children, parents, and/or staff
Arranging and supervising parent/teacher meetings and providing parents with guidance and resources when necessary
Reviewing and approving all forms to parents
Closing center at day's end
