The Division of Enrollment Management at Rutgers UniversityNew Brunswick (EMNB) is comprised of seven student-facing and administrative units: Undergraduate Admissions, the Office of Financial Aid, the Office of the Registrar, and the One Stop Student Services Center, as well as business, information technology, and strategy and analytics administrative teams. Posting Summary



Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Director of Graduate Admissions for the Division of Enrollment Management. Reporting to the Assistant Vice Chancellor, The Director of Graduate Admissions is a member of the Enrollment Management leadership team responsible for meeting annual and long-term enrollment goals. The Director leads a fast paced team that drives strategy behind both marketing and recruitment activity associated with NJ, Out-of-State, and International graduate recruitment.

Among the key duties of this position are the following:


Responsible for the development and implementation of a cohesive and differentiating communications and marketing strategy from concept to creation to delivery.
Cultivates data-driven, high-impact and results-oriented marketing and recruitment practices to enroll an increasingly high-achieving and diverse student body.
Advances and executes marketing and recruitment tactics that serve to engage and enhance relationships with target audiences including future students applicants, admitted students, enrolling students and other educators, as well as internal constituents.
Establishes metrics-oriented accountability through analytics to ensure continuous improvement of activities and alignment with enrollment goals.
Supervises and develops a team of professionals and oversees the Graduate Recruitment and Marketing budget.

Minimum Education and Experience


Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, public relations or related field.
A minimum of five years of experience in either recruitment or marketing/communications.





Certifications/Licenses


Use of personal vehicle in order to travel for business demands; a valid drivers license would be required for this position.

Preferred Qualifications


Masters degree.
Experience in higher education.

8-10 years of experience in either recruitment or marketing/communications, preferably in higher education or other non-profit setting.

Under Policy 60.1.35 Immunization Policy for Rutgers Employees and Prospective Employees, Rutgers University requires all prospective employees to provide proof that they are fully vaccinated and have received a booster (where eligible) against COVID-19 prior to commencement of employment, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption.
