Director of Education & Referral Services
Rate: $70,000-$72,000 Status: Exempt
Child Care Connection seeks a dynamic management professional to work with the executive director to oversee the development and implementation of procedures, build professional development curriculum for early care and education providers, coordinate quality initiatives, expand parent engagement, and supervise all referral programs. Candidate would be responsible for supporting a vision of continuous quality improvement of child care providers and internal staff.
Requirements:
Master's degree required in early childhood education or related field (e.g., education, psychology, child & family development, social work)
Minimum three years' experience in supervision and training adults and a strong background in early childhood are essential
Leadership experience providing oversight and training of staff
Proven relationships working with stakeholders and community partners
Experience with non-profit, policy development, or related field preferred
Skills:
Knowledge of NJ State systems, including CCR&R, GNJK, & CCDBG, a plus
Understanding of Developmentally Appropriate Practices (DAP)
Reflective Supervision skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in developing and submitting reports in a timely manner
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to train and lead others
Flexibility and strong time-management skills
