Minimum education: Bachelors degree
One year managerial or supervisory experience
Professional teaching experience (Preferred)
Early childhood education knowledge (Preferred)
Effectively operates and manages all aspects of a child care school, to include human resources, customer relations, financial systems, quality control and facility management.
Understand, comply and work to exceed all regulations as directed by New Jersey.
Actively develops and maintains positive customer/community relations.
Identifies, schedules and interviews teacher candidates; Builds networks of external future talent
Conducts classroom observations, evaluations, and provides feedback that motivates and encourages learning.
Builds and communicates weekly schedules
Completes all required paperwork and record keeping on a timely basis and maintains same in an organized, up-to-date manner. This includes all academy files: for example, student, personnel, vehicle, driver, health and safety files.
Trains staff to plan and implement creative, developmentally appropriate programs for all children.
Leads tour with prospective families, highlighting key features and points of difference of our curriculum, teacher tenure/quality, etc.
Ensures the physical environment and health/safety standards are full compliance with local and state licensing regulations
Responsible for accident/incident reporting
Conducts monthly emergency safety drills
