JEVS Human Services is searching for a GED Instructor to join our Project WOW program. The GED Instructor will work with participants in JEVS' youth programs to guide youth in achieving their academic and career goals. The instructor is responsible for the academic success of youth in JEVS programs, including the assessment, instruction and learning processes for youth. This position will be on a temporary basis for approximately 3 months.
This position is located in our Northeast Philadelphia office and is full-time.
Responsibilities:

Collaborate with educational staff to provide appropriate academic enhancement instruction and activities.
Monitor progress and facilitate learning modules of Penn Foster diploma program.
Develop lesson plans and curricula designed to achieve funder established benchmarks within program design.
Meet and develop relationships with other program providers to help maintain a professional network among Philadelphias OSY providers.




Associate's degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred

Must be strong in Math.
GED instruction experience preferred.
