Job Description:

We are looking for a customer service representative to join our team at MercerCountyWorks.com. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, be empathetic, patient, and able to handle a high volume of customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service to users of MercerCountyWorks.com via phone, email, and chat.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Manage and resolve customer issues and complaints in a timely manner.
  • Accurately log and document customer interactions and transactions.
  • Collaborate with other team members to identify and resolve technical issues affecting the customer experience.
  • Assist with maintaining and updating customer information in our database.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in customer service or a related field.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to resolve customer issues.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Comfortable with working in a fully remote environment.
  • Familiarity with customer service software, such as Zendesk, is a plus.
