We are currently hiring for a Front Desk Receptionist for our new Physical Therapy Office in Moorestown.



We are pleased to offer a $250 Sign-on Bonus.



Summary



The Physical Therapy Front Desk Receptionist (FDR) is responsible for providing accurate and timely services to patients. FDRs are expected to provide internal and external customers with the highest level customer service experience. FDRs are responsible for chart prep, check-in, check-out, rooming patients, facilitating patient care at all levels of the patient experience, the collection of copays and accurate entry of patient demographic and insurance information in the practices EMR system.


Essential Functions




Assists in pre and post appointment operations such as chart preparation and transmitting paperwork to appropriate parties
Provides professional customer service by greeting patients and guest warmly and courteously
Greets persons entering establishment, determine nature and purpose of visit and direct or escort them to intended destination
Obtains and verifies necessary clinical, demographic and insurance information, referrals, precertifications and testing results
Responsible for checking in, checking out and rooming patients when on site for appointments
Reviews, updates and communicates physician schedule status (cancellations, no shows, reschedules and add-ons) ensuring that patients and providers are attended to at all times
Obtains and scans new patient demographics; updated patient information, as necessary, in the computer system to maintain accuracy for medical secretaries, precertification & billing
Obtains insurance information and documents
Schedules or reschedules patient appointments as necessary
Assists patients with questions or concerns regarding their treatment plan as dictated by the medical provider and provide them with needed information and resources to actively participate in their medical care
Keeps management informed of changes in work flow processes, issues or concerns affecting productivity.
Participates in activities of stocking and restocking to ensure supplies are available to providers
Follows protocols as outlined for chart prep, check-in, check-out and opening/closing procedures
Accurately documents patient accounts of all actions taken
Interacts professionally with other employees, customers and suppliers
Works independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and management
Demonstrates teamwork
