We are looking for a receptionist to work our front desk and to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. As a receptionist, you will welcome and greet our patients. You will coordinate front-desk activities and handle all incoming calls. We are looking for someone with a pleasant personality. Multitasking skills are essential for this position. Ultimately, a receptionists duties and responsibilities in our office are to ensure the front desk welcomes our patients and their families in a positive manner and executes all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
Greet and check-in patients as soon as they arrive at the office
Answer and triage incoming phone calls
Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock
Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing
Maintain a professional appearance and attitude
Skills
Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role
Knowledge of medical coding and billing is desired
Knowledge of EMR (such as e clinical works) is helpful
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
Excellent organizational skills
Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
High school degree; additional certification in Office Management is a plus
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
