Welcome guests in a friendly, prompt, and professional manner recognizing IHG Rewards Club Members and new and returning guests
Check guests in, issue room keys, provide information on hotel services and amenities, and information on surrounding area and events
Ensure required identification and payment information is taken from guests at check-in
Answer phones in a prompt and courteous manner
Up-sell rooms where possible to maximize hotel revenue
Answer, record and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions or concerns
Perform other duties as assigned by Management
Day/Night shift hours. Some weekends and holidays are required.
Frequent standing, particularly for sustained periods of time at the front desk
Must be able to bend, squat, stand, sit, and occasionally lift 20-25 pounds.
Handling objects, products, and computer equipment
Basic computer skills to operate various property management and reservations systems (Opera), etc
High School diploma or equivalent
One-year front desk/guest service experience strongly preferred
Proficiency in Opera/Fidelio is preferred but not essential.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment DRUG TEST and BACKGROUND CHECK.
