This position within the Oncology Portfolio Strategy & Execution Team will be responsible for the Pan-Oncology External Customer Engagement, including Congress Strategy, Key Customer Executive Engagement Strategy and Advocacy Strategy. This person will direct all marketing activities and the design, planning and execution of key oncology conventions in collaboration with the brand marketing teams to support the overall Pan-Oncology position in the oncology marketplace. This person will also create a strategic framework for Key Account Executive Engagements and lead a comprehensive Advocacy/Policy in close collaboration with the SCG Advocacy team and brand partners. This role will require close coordination with cross functional partners and as such, this Product Director, must work closely with multiple functions including Brand Marketing, Global Strategic Marketing, Sales, Sales training, Business Analytics, Strategic Customer Group, Medical Affairs, R&D, North America Pharma affiliates, Alliance Management, Corporate Communications and outside vendors in order to effectively execute key commercial activities.
Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for leading conventions across the Oncology Franchise to ensure that the strategy and execution are reflective and inclusive of the Janssen Oncology Portfolio Approach
Direct all marketing activities and the design, planning and execution of key oncology conventions in collaboration with the brand marketing teams to support the overall franchise position in the oncology market.
Collaborate with global marketing on relevant US based and international congresses to ensure aligned strategy and execution
Collaborate with medical and R&D to ensure appropriate scientific engagement
Create a strategic framework for Key Customer Executive Engagements and coordinate with the field teams and brand leads on execution
Lead a comprehensive advocacy/policy strategy that engages cancer advocacy groups and compliantly supports mutual objectives to support best possible cancer treatment (ex: NCCN, ACS, COA, ONS).
Collaborate with the brand advocacy leads and SCG to ensure alignment on advocacy strategies across Janssen Oncology

Qualifications

A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Pharmaceutical Science or a related field is required. An MBA is preferred but not required.
A minimum of 7 years business experience is required.
At least 5 years of successful and progressive experience in Sales, Marketing, Managed Care Account Management, Pricing and/or related fields is required.
Practical knowledge of pharmaceutical marketing that includes FDA regulatory and legal environment and HCC regulations is required.
People management experience is preferred.
Experience in Oncology, is preferred.
Must be innovative, proactive, and strong analytically with excellent overall business acumen.
Must be capable of managing and prioritizing multiple priorities.
Must demonstrate excellent leadership skills with the ability to work effectively in a matrix and unstructured environment.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically. Can operate in two worlds - big picture orientation with attention to detail.
Interpersonal flexibility to effectively interact with a broad range of personnel. Advanced communication and presentation skills required.

This position is located in Horsham PA and requires up to 20% travel predominantly domestically with limited international travel.
