The Customer Experience Team Member will play an integral role in supporting a culture of sales and service. They will enhance our brand as a retailer in collaboration with other team members dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers and providing a clean and inviting shopping environment. A successful Customer Experience Team Member is actively engaged with customers and has a customer first mindset. The Customer Experience Team Member is empowered to make positive decisions that are in the best interest of the customer. This requires the ability to work in service with one another and the customer, prioritize workload, and contribute to accomplishing the teams key objectives.


Acknowledges and is actively engaged with customers in a courteous, helpful, and respectful manner; promptly and politely responds to customer inquiries and requests for support.
Processes all customer transactions through the register, packages customer purchases.
Acknowledges customers in line and partners with leadership if additional assistance needed.
Communicates the benefits of current reward programs and collects email addresses from customers at register to enhance marketing outreach.
Effectively communicates with leadership and team members, requesting assistance as needed.
Returns misplaced product, customer returns, and put backs to correct area of the store.

Stocks merchandise on store fixtures following stocking plans and presentation standards.
Verifies prices, assists with price changes on product and merchandise displays.
Organizes, straightens, and replenishes merchandise and supplies throughout work areas.
Creates, displays, and maintains required store signage on fixtures and shelves; monitors store signage to ensure in compliance with sign standards.
Maintains housekeeping standards throughout work areas; cleans fixtures, checkout area, removes debris and trash, cleans up product spills, as needed.
Demonstrates safe work methods and practices, including reporting safety issues promptly.
Performs duties and responsibilities in a safe, efficient, accurate, and effective manner following policies and procedures.
Performs additional duties, as necessary including but not limited to Return to Vendor (RTV) processing, merchandise processing, backroom organization, and cart retrieval.


Acts with urgency to resolve issues impacting service or sales.
Treats all customers and team members with respect and dignity; always exhibits professional behavior.
Collaborates and builds relationships with others to accomplish the job and deliver desired results.
Takes personal ownership for understanding, implementing, and supporting change.
Takes the initiative to seek out new tasks when daily tasks and assigned work is complete, reaches out for guidance.
Demonstrates commitment to the organization by maintaining regular, punctual attendance, is reliable and follows through with responsibilities.


Ability to work a flexible schedule to support business needs.


Occasionally be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 40 pounds.
Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.
May involve reaching, bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, and climbing ladders.
