The primary responsibility of this position is to assist in the planning, leading and organizing of the dispatch group. This position will also handle customer service sales calls and the scheduling of company drivers.

Position Essential Functions Responsibilities
Serve as lead in logistics department. Assist with escalated client concerns and problem solving techniques to the other logistics coordinators.
Assisting in the management of the dispatch, logistics, and customer service responsibilities.
Scheduling deliveries with ready mix concrete company drivers.
Communicating via a two-way radio system.
Providing customer service to drivers and clients.
Inbound/outbound sales calls.
Addressing customer concerns.
Working with plant management, sales, and quality control.
Experience in dispatching or logistics or trucking preferred but not required.
Concrete industry experience is preferred but not required.
Ability to work daylight hours and as needed.
Ability to work a 50 hour work week or as needed.
Ability to work at least 2 or 3 Saturdays per month
This person needs to have excellent and clear communication skills (bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus)
Have strong customer service skills.
