PURPOSE OF JOB: Responsible for answering calls that come through the call center, answering all concerns and questions, routing the calls appropriately to the right person, department or voicemail box, and scheduling all appointment requests for office visits. Responsible for supervising as the onsite lead for fielding all questions, concerns, and training for the call center staff. Responsible for fielding or training on initial triage questions from call center staff.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
-Answer telephone calls
-Schedule patients for office visits
-Data entry into ECW billing (EPM) system and electronic medical record
-Submit tasks and prescription refills through the electronic medical record
-Supervise call center staff
-Other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, Medical Assistant program graduate, or Licensed Practical Nurse
Experience: Medical office experience required, Call Center experience preferred, clinical experience a plus.
Other Skills: Basic computer knowledge, excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills, scheduling flexibility
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
