The Facilities & Procurement Manager is responsible for overseeing maintenance and operating conditions of of all JEVS facilities, supervising facilities staff and vendors and assessing their performance to continually improve services, researching and collecting bids for facility projects, developing and implementing a centralized procurement strategy for the agency, and leveraging technology tools and new business processes to streamline procurement.


Responsibilities:

Prepares weekly and monthly detailed schedules and assignments for facilities staff using ticketing system and based on current priorities and needs.
Supervises daily facility work and ensures timely completion of work assigned to facilities team, including regular cleaning/housekeeping. Responds to housekeeping emergencies and assigns work to team members and/or vendors.
Monitors ticketing system on a daily basis, coordinates priorities with Senior Director of Facilities, and assigns and performs work to respond to tickets and work orders.
Researches vendors for specific projects and collects bids to present to Senior Director of Facilities.
Responds to evolving facility needs, such as space layout and/or expansion changes, maintenance and clean up, equipment moves, and other facility related needs. Assigns and supervises work that responds to identified needs.
Oversees the preventative maintenance of facility equipment, including HVAC and office equipment.
Travels on a regular basis to all JEVS facilities to pro-actively identify upcoming needs, coordinate the set up of spaces for events, and/or respond to urgent needs.
Responds to after-hours facility needs and assists with other on-call emergencies.


High School Diploma, BachelorsÆ degree a plus (not required)
5-7 years working in facilities management and/or procurement services
Travel required
Experience supervising and assessing staff performance
Knowledge of ticketing and work order systems

The base pay for this position ranges from $58,000 to $75,000 and will vary based on factors such as skills and experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation that JEVS Human Services provides to recognize employees for their work.
