Community Options, Inc. is a national non-profit agency providing services to individuals with disabilities in 11 states.
We are in search of an Secretary/ Administrative Assistant to be based at our Corporate office in Princeton, NJ. This role will provide administrative and secretarial support to the department and interact with a diverse group of important external callers and visitors.
The Administrative Assistant provides administrative and secretarial support to the department in addition to arranging meetings and conferences, obtaining supplies, coordinating direct mailings, and working on special projects. The person in this position deals with a diverse group of important external callers and visitors, as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization.
The starting pay is $15.25 per hour
The schedule will be Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm.

High School Diploma/GED.
2+ years of administrative experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations
Ability to communicate efficiently with individuals from all levels of the organization.
Valid Drivers License.


Schedule and organize appointments, meetings, travel, conferences, and department activities.
Order all office supplies monthly, and maintains all equipment.
Establish, develop, maintain and update filing system.
Maintain daily and monthly schedule for all necessary staff to determine location and availability.
Organize and prioritize large volumes of information and calls and takes detailed messages.
Open, sort and distribute mail.
Check fax machine and distribute faxes to appropriate persons.
Act as a liaison with Human Resources.
All other duties assigned by the Executive Director.
