We're looking for a responsible and friendly individual to join our team in a hybrid position of a medical assistant and receptionist. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the physicians with in office procedures, walking patients back to the rooms, checking vital signs, obtaining prior authorizations, supply inventory, answering incoming calls, scheduling patient appointments and managing requests for medical records. Our medical assistants and receptionists are an integral part of our team and provide an important service to our patients, so we are looking for individuals who are passionate about the medical field and enjoy helping people.
Responsibilities:

Greet patients, family members, and co-workers in a friendly manner.
Answer phone calls and request assistance from appropriate staff accordingly.
Merge patient data into the medical record.
Type medical information from dictation and transcribe patient reports.
Work as part of a team in an organized fashion.
Demonstrate proper infection control measures.
Assist physicians with in office procedures.
Bring patients to the exam rooms and intake simple history.
Check vital signs.
Submit prior authorizations
Check and maintain supply inventory.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
