Your Role
The Medical Receptionist is under the supervision of the Practice Manager and is responsible for working with the team to ensure administrative and clinical needs are met.

Requirements

Minimum of High School Diploma or GED
Substance Use Disorder: 1 year (Preferred)
Behavioral Health: 1 year (Preferred)
Admissions Experience (preferred)
Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role

Responsibilities

Greets guests and clients to the facility in a kind and courteous manner at all times.
Answers main phone line and transfers calls to the appropriate party and/or takes messages.
Assist with scheduling client intakes and appointments as needed.
Verify insurance benefits and Authorizations
Processes incoming mail and sends outgoing correspondence as needed.
Maintains records and documentation for the company.
Enters data into the computer system, ensuring accuracy.
Participates in Management Team Meetings as needed.
Supervises front office area, ensuring area is hazard-free and kept orderly.
Checks office supply stock weekly and submits orders for any supply items running low.
Oversees administrative functioning of the facility in an organized and professional manner.
Ensures compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations.
Contacts property management for any maintenance related issues.
Ensures patient confidentiality in compliance with 42CFR, Part 2.
Coordinates with contracted agencies to develop patients schedule and collaborates with the team to remedy any logistical complications that may arise.
Performs other duties assigned.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule: ?M-F 5:15pm-8:30pm, Sundays 9am-6pm
