Job Title: Receptionist
Location: Live Urgent Care Pennington
Pay: $16.00-19.00 per hour
Benefits:

How you will make an impact

Tend to patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries
Providing administrative assistance to patients
Making appointments, collecting co-pays, and providing receipt of money in accordance with established procedures
Highly-responsive to telephone calls in a detail-oriented and effective manner within minimum rings
Responsible for insurance verifications with health insurance organizations
Ensuring the waiting and reception areas are kept neat and clean; reporting on any damage
Updating various files and providing general office duties, e.g. faxing, data entry, scanning, etc.

Education and Experience

Minimum of 1 year experience in a medical setting (e.g., urgent care)
High School Diploma

Skills:

Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
Compassion for patients
Excellent computer/technological skills
Actively listening to patient concerns
Explaining procedures to patients

Physical Demands:

Occasionally required to sit
Occasionally required to walk
Occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle or feel.
Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.
Occasionally required to lift moderate weight (25-50 pounds)
