STATUS: Full-time, Exempt
REQUIREMENTS: Associates degree with experience or Bachelors degree; three or more years experience as an administrative assistant.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide administrative support to the President and CEO. He/she will schedule and prepare for meetings, prepare correspondence and documentation, file and update organizational materials as well as meet and greet visitors. We are looking for an individual who is efficient and comfortable being a member of a team. The ability to multi-task and manage administrative support is essential in this position. The ideal candidate for this job is resourceful, a good problem solver and organized. Assuring a steady completion of workload in a timely manner is key to success in this position.
SKILLS: Exceptional writing skills in varied formats and lengths; excellent verbal and interpersonal communication abilities. Must be able to interact effectively with diverse population of clients, funders, employees, employers, government representatives, and others. Strong research/information-gathering, analytical and general office skills.
High level Microsoft Office skills are essential, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher.
DUTIES INCLUDE:

Work independently to prioritize tasks and complete projects with inflexible deadlines


Prepare and type letters, memos and reports


Collect incoming mail, screen telephone calls, take messages, and schedule appointments


Schedule and prepare for meetings


Establish and maintain files and records


Maintain member list, Committee lists and listservs


Assist with planning and management of events


Perform other duties, as required
