\*OVERVIEW: \* Responsible for leading the administrative team in everyday company business and presenting the Rutgers Nursery experience as a great place to work. In this position you must be willing to learn new information about the entire company thru administrative procedures, be flexible with your hours (work increases and is very seasonal, in some seasons, staying after closing may be necessary), and give 100% of your effort to work as a team and make operations run smoothly. \*IMPLEMENT OUR VISION, CORE VALUES & ACCOUNTABILITIES.\* \*VISION: \* To be the best run business in our industry that gives all reason to want to visit us and inspiration to create their own beautiful outdoor spaces with help from Rutgers- \_\*Like no other nursery and for all to GMLCW\*\_ \*CORE VALUES: \* \*NICE: \* practices meaningful acknowledgement & appreciation, believes in others, embraces & enables teamwork \*AMAZE: \* focused on getting to extraordinary, goes above/beyond, recovers, fanatic w/response time \*IMPROVE & ELEVATE: \* embraces change, teaches & learns from mistakes, appreciates constructive feedback \*LOVE RUTGERS: \* puts company & needs of the team 1st, before themselves, personifies/promotes brand \*ACCOUNTABLE: \* practices integrity with word, engaged, focuses on results, owns it, keen interest to solving problems \*ACCOUNTABILITIES: \* \* LMA (Lead, Manage & hold Accountable) yourself. \* Complete Daily Systems as per Admin Checklist of Responsibilities document \* Train/oversee administrative staff on how to submit monies into landscape and nursery accounts and invoice customers \* Maintain and manage organized work environment with administrative staff \* Keep organized day-planner and train/ensure all administrative staff is utilizing an organized day planner as well \* Direct/assist administrative staff on incoming phone calls when available at desk and distribute sales leads to nursery and/or landscape divisions \* Submit checks for review by company president before mailing/sending payment \* Train/oversee/aid administrative staff in daily credit card batch reports \* Compile and submit daily landscape & nursery money systems report to company president \* Submit monthly G/L Income Statement Proof Statements for each company \* Enter into system monthly vendor statements/invoices \* Submits bank rec requests and receives from accountants \* Field customer phone calls with questions \* Be responsible for overall appearance of Offices in Admin Dep. \* Maintain an exceptional level of positive ethics and integrity with our team and clients
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
