Provides positive customer relations through personal sales skills relating to all company products and services. Supervises, directs and motivates associates to execute the corporate business plan to maximize sales and profits. Assist store operations manager in reviewing store P & L and asset performance to budget accountability.Key Essential ResponsibilitiesA minimum of 75% of time spent selling and promoting all products and services to retail customers.Maintains positive customer relations through developing and monitoring of associates customer service skills, personal sales, and effective handling of customer complaints.Promote positive sales trends through effective training and motivation of team.Effectively execute administration duties including proper company documentation.Personnel Management including training, scheduling and direction of work activity. Assists store operations manager with recruitment, selection and onboarding of new employees; as well as discipline and performance evaluation decisions of existing employees.Inventory control including analyzing reports, identifying problems, developing and implementing plans for solutions. Manage inventory levels to obtain maximum sales and profits.Maintain facility to business standards including building, equipment, parking lot, and groundsExperience/Education/Other Requirements1 year automotive and/or retail management experience requiredSome college or post-secondary education is preferredHave a valid drivers licenseBe able to handle prolonged standing and walking; lifting up to 50lbs.Be able to work extended workdays, 10 12 hours 3 times a week, which would comprise of a minimum of 2 closing shifts per week (not including Saturday).Be able to handle stressful situations and work in a fast-paced environment.Have analytical skills to interpret reports and information, and develop strategies.Have extensive verbal communication skills required for customer and associate relations.
