H2 Specialty Building Products opened its doors in 2001 in Lancaster, PA with 8 employees, providing and installing home systems and commercial specialties for home builders and general contractors. Our mission is to be respected and highly regarded as a preferred supplier by providing superior service for selected specialty building products through total commitment to quality of product, personnel, and effort. This focus has enabled H2 to expand to 3 locations with over 100 employees currently serving Eastern PA, Maryland, Delaware, and New Jersey.We are seeking installers of closet shelving, mirrors, shower doors, bath accessories, toilet partitions and other miscellaneous hardware in new homes and commercial buildings. Our installers are an essential part of the H2 team and key to our success with our customers. H2s ideal candidate will have a passion for service and a strong commitment to our team. Prior construction/finished carpentry experience is preferred in this role; however, we are willing to train the right candidate. We offer comprehensive training in a team environment. Will consider either an employee with full benefits or sub-contractor relationship (30% more).Qualified candidates will possess the following skills and traits to be a successful H2 installer:Keep safety first, adhering to all safety requirements and report incidents timely.Quality minded, always performing job duties with quality in mind; to include not only the quality of the installation, but the cleanliness of the work site, company vehicle, etc.Demonstrate a positive attitude and represent H2 while performing duties.Passion for customer service with the ability to communicate well with customers, other contractors, and team members in professional, courteous manner.Open minded to training and education with a desire to become one of our subject matter experts.Self-starter with a relentless pursuit of results; demonstrating pride in ones craftmanship with efficiency and customer urgency.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Ability to read instructions, CAD designs, standards, etc. to ensure proper installation.Mechanical aptitude with strong knowledge of power and hand tools, measuring instruments, etc.An eye for detail; the ability to identify defects and communicate immediately with supervisor.Adaptive and flexible with the ability to trouble-shoot problems.Complete required written paperwork for each job.Ability to bend, twist, climb, squat, reach, and stand throughout the scheduled shift with the ability lift, carry, and maneuver a minimum of 50 pounds.Support the H2 team in other aspects such as warehousing, material handling and inventory.Please respond with resume/work history. H2, LLC requires pre-employment drug screening and valid driver's license. Hourly training rate of 15.00 - 18.00 for 60 days (depending on previous work experience).
