Scientific Products, an ATS Life Sciences Company is seeking a Warehouse Manager for our Warminster, PA facility.
The Warehouose Manager plans, organizes, and monitors the receiving, storage, and distribution of all items received either from suppliers or production shops ensuring a smooth and consistent operation so parts and supplies are located and distributed to proper departments in an effective and efficient manner as needed to satisfy internal and external customer requirements. The Warehouse Manager will manage the materials in the warehouse and will work closely with the Supply Chain Team to be sure inventory is controlled. Must have the ability to analyze a process, initiate procedures and execute a plan. The Warehouse Manager must achieve inventory accuracy, coordinate order fulfillment, and track shipping times for millions of product orders every year. The ideal candidate is exceptionally detail-oriented and able to manage multiple facets of warehouse operations simultaneously.

RESPONSIBILITIES include the following but not limited to:

Maintain a personnel structure and staffing level to accomplish the Warehouse, Shipping and Receiving mission in an effective and efficient manner. Interview and recommend applicants for hire.
Plans and coordinates work, trains and motivates, monitors and evaluates performance of Associates; ensures their ability to safely operate material handling equipment to move materials to and from storage configurations; counsels, records, and disciplines as necessary.
Manages and monitors daily cycle count activities to ensure correct counts and recording, thorough investigation of any issues and timely & specific disposition to ensure perpetual inventory is accurate.
Conducts annual physical inventory for the site; responsible to keep inventory variances to less than 1% of total inventory value.
Maintains an equipment structure and level to accomplish the Warehouse, Shipping and Receiving mission in a safe, effective manner. Provides appropriate equipment and racking to ensure the safe transport and storage of all materials. Researches material handling equipment to ensure procurement of the most suitable equipment in terms of performance, safety, reliability, and cost.
Monitors the unloading of all materials into the Receiving Department; Ensures materials are staged for counting and inspection; Ensures receiving reports accurately report material received. Resolves discrepancies with Accounting regarding invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports. Monitors the flow of paperwork from Receiving to Inventory Control for timely data entry. Oversees the movement of material form Receiving to the Warehouse in an efficient, effective, and safe manner.
Conduct daily warehouse GEMBA updates; maintaining and reporting out on warehouse metrics.
Oversees the supplying of materials to Fabrication and stages material for Assembly and Sub-Assembly. Ensures materials are stored properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures. Oversees the rotation of inventories within the warehouse.
Monitors and measures performance KPIs associated with the Warehouse performance for accuracy of locator, receiving reporting, movement and storage of material, and transfers to Service Parts.
Oversee and manage Transportation and Logistics for transporting products to customers and company facilities, communicating with drivers and air partners to ensure efficient delivery of packages.
Performs other related duties as required.






SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position currently supervises six warehouse associates.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

B.S. or B.A. Degree in Business Management, Industrial Management or related field;
Three to five years experience in Warehousing, Receiving, Inventory Control, or Materials Management in a manufacturing environment with two years Supervisory experience.
Strong knowledge of Shipping, Receiving, Warehouse, and Material Handling operations, methods, and practices.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products
Ability to develop personnel and equipment structures to support present and future operations.
Knowledge of Bar Code Technology and Electronic Data Interchange a plus.
Must possess the ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
