Role Summary


The Demand Planner for the eCommerce Pure Play team would be focused on analysis of sales, promotion, inventory and other data, modeling out to predict future demand and improved forecasts. This individual would quickly flag any items that have rapid increases or decreases in velocity to the sales team allowing them to replicate or fix market activities that impacted the results. Will serve as the liaison between sales and Supply Chain, Demand Planning and Customer Logistics, driving maximum fill rates across Pure Play eCommerce accounts.



Responsible for 14 C&D power brands (750+ skus); monitoring and engaging with the Amazon In-Stock Manager to ensure optimal inventory levels to support base demand and tent pole events. Utilize the S&OP process to collaborate with supply chain, finance, sales and trade marketing.


Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities


Assemble the rolling 18 month weekly and monthly demand forecasts by brand, by UPC utilizing all cross functional data
Partner with sales and marketing to understand current and upcoming key customer needs, special demand requests and market data to best project customer demand
Track and report forecast accuracy metrics and drive continuous improvement in sales forecasting
Identify, analyze, and document the forecast errors related to the demand forecast for identification of corrective actions. Communicate with the Supply Chain Planner in a rapid and timely manner on emerging demand changes and special requests
Work with the new products and marketing groups to develop new production introduction forecasts and timelines


Education and Experience


BS degree required
1 3 years planning experience preferred
Extremely organized and detail oriented
Ability to analyze data and determine opportunities for improvement
Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
The ideal candidate must be a professional team-oriented individual who can manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment and be able to adhere to deadlines
