Title: Kitchen Aide 1Expected Achievements:Safe and efficient operation of the kitchen and serving line· Monitor the bussing area to collect used trays and wash for re-use· Efficient flow of items in and out of the dishwasher is maintained· Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing area· Routine maintenance is performed regularly on the dishwasher· Kitchen staff are assisted as requested· Grease Traps are cleaned weekly· Beverage services are maintained (coffee, tea, juice, water, etc)· Water canister is filled with water and ice during meal service· Trash is bagged and prepared for disposal· Recyclable items are prepared for pickup; for example, cans washed, rinsed and placed in appropriate area for pick-up.· Clean all floor mats weekly· Other related duties as assigned by Manager of Food ServicesNecessary Skills and Abilities:Ability to read and speak appropriately to fulfill the responsibilities of the positionAbility to work as member of a teamAbility to work for long periods while standingAbility to lift 50 lbs.Strong attention to cleanliness and detailRequired Credentials:Kitchen experience preferredJob Type: Full-timePay: From 12.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayCOVID-19 considerations:All employees are required to wear mask and gloves while working on premises.This Job Is:Open to applicants who do not have a high school diploma/GEDCompany's website:www.trentonsoupkitchen.orgBenefit Conditions:Only full-time employees eligibleCOVID-19 Precaution(s):Personal protective equipment provided or requiredTemperature screenings
