SUMMARY:

Saroglitazar is also an investigational treatment in development for the treatment of non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH).Our second drug candidate is desidustat, an oral hypoxia-inducible factor prolyl hydroxylase (HIF- PH) inhibitor, an investigational treatment in development for the treatment of chemotherapy-induced anemia (CIA)As a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zydus Lifesciences, our pipeline is fueled by 1,300 researchers who are working with cutting-edge technologies to discover new medicines for tomorrow.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

In partnership with COO and CMO, develops a long term talent strategy to meet the organization's mission and goals·
Defining and building a high-quality recruiting process that results in a superior candidate and hiring manager experience, including robust search kick-off sessions, interview team prep/debrief sessions, and use of behavior-based interviewing skills and assigned focal areas.
Creates best-in-class approaches to identify, engage, attract, and assess talent for both R&D and commercial roles across ZTI
Develops strong networks and relationships with potential talent through proactive networking and open communication.
Ensure the organizations human resource policies, procedures, and practices are in compliance with employment laws by maintaining awareness of applicable federal and state requirements, conferring with legal counsel, implementing necessary changes to remain compliant, and communicating all changes to appropriate employees.
Assist with maintaining staffing levels to accomplish company goals and objectives.
Oversee the development, implementation, and periodic review and revision of human resource policies and procedures, and ensure all appropriate individuals receive adequate training to properly implement, administer, and observe those policies and procedures.
Ensure current human resource policies, procedures, and forms are available and accessible by managers and employees.
Oversee the talent acquisition functions of specific group within the organization, including all recruitment practices, approval of open positions, applicant processing, contracts with employment agencies, reporting, selection, offer approval, onboarding, and orientation.
Monitor progress of all recruitment activities to ensure established goals are met in a timely manner.· Oversee the development and management of the Environmental, Health, Safety & Security departments/functions/programs.· Perform other related duties as assigned to meet departmental and Company objectives.
Assist with annual HR budget process inclusive of new initiatives and employee progression planning and Talent Management initiatives.
Support the employee relations function of the organization, including regular review of compliance or policy violations, investigations, corrective actions, employee performance issues, rewards and recognition programs, employee status changes, leave management, workers compensation, unemployment insurance, and employee separations.
Become involved as necessary to assist in resolving any employee relations matters for the organization.
Oversee the process of establishing and maintaining current and compliant organization charts and job profile for every business unit within the Region.
Support the selection and administration of all benefits programs and vendors· Participate in and provide full cooperation with any internal/external audits as required
Review the Companys recruitment, compensation, and benefit plans on a regular basis to ensure market competitiveness and equitability to attract and retain qualified, high-potential employees

Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

Working knowledge of HR practices, laws, regulations, and procedures.
Exceptional writing and communication skills to write and communicate in a clear, concise manner.
Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively lead, inspire, motivate, interact with and work with all levels throughout the organization; negotiation skills to persuade in both positive and negative situations.
Excellent judgment with ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems.
Excellent planning, organizational, and time-management skills; ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
Strong analytical skills including the ability to synthesize complex or diverse information.
Collaborative work style; management skills to engage staff in planning, decision making, facilitating and process improvement.
PC proficiency using Microsoft Office suite and human resource information systems.
Ability to work independently and institute improvements that increase workflow.
Ability to maintain confidentiality

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Bachelors degree in human resources or related field, or the equivalent in pertinent, progressive experience with increased levels of responsibility.
7 plus years of US human resources experience
Experience in both manufacturing and office settings preferred
